The Reason Victims Never Win
There is no shortage of evil on planet Earth. Genocide, rape, disease, and starvation run rampant and there seems to be no end in sight. In the moments we sit back believing peace has finally come to the human race there is someone plotting to throw us back into chaos. Whether we like it or not, we are forced to participate in this ebb and flow of darkness. The only reason this pattern exists is that we think we are powerless against it. Far too many of us readily accept the idea we are victims and that there is nothing we can do in the face of all this evil.
Nothing destroys your potential like having the mentality of a victim; always thinking that your outcomes happen not because of your own shortcomings or mistakes, but because you have been wronged by a group of faceless individuals that don’t even know who the fuck you are. It makes you feel powerless and unable to effect change in your life or anyone else’s. It literally saps your will and ultimately turns you into an invalid. As long as you convince yourself you’re powerless, you will remain powerless.
The time you waste complaining and blaming others is worse than just time wasted -- it’s time you’ve used to allow evil to fester inside you. It’s time you could be using to truly tap into your potential to improve not only yourself but the world around you. You don’t fight evil in the world or within yourself by resigning yourself to defeat. You aren’t just betraying yourself -- you’re betraying the human race.
Your life may be tough but I can guarantee you one thing -- humanity has been through far worse than what you’re experiencing. Once you accept that the road of human progression is and always will be full of obstacles you’ll finally be able to focus your energy on destroying not just the evil festering inside you but also the evil that is so pervasive in this world.
