Empowerment & Relentless Improvement
Woðanaz, the Proto-Germanic name for Odin, is the ruler of the Aesir tribe of deities.
A relentless seeker of wisdom, Odin was always in pursuit of self-improvement.
Every limitation was viewed as an obstacle to overcome by any means necessary, and his actions were driven by a ruthless quest for more knowledge and power.
Odin once “sacrificed himself to himself” by hanging on the world-tree Yggdrasil for nine days and nights. At the end of this ordeal, he perceived the runes.
The name Odin is derived from the word Óðr, which has various meanings related to the mind, soul, madness, and inspiration. Odin is known to be “spirited, frenzied, obsessed,” as well as “furious.”
This is the spirit we aimed to capture with the Woðanaz flag. We wanted the imagery to be a constant source of empowerment, inspiring you to reach your full potential.
