The cunning gods attempted to chain him, tricking him into testing his strength with two chains he broke effortlessly.

They then forged Gleipnir, a chain crafted from impossible elements, and when Fenrir demanded a pledge of good faith, only Tyr, his friend, offered his hand.

Bound by Gleipnir, Fenrir tore Tyr's hand off. Bound to a boulder with a sword in his jaws, Fenrir awaited Ragnarok, where he would break free to wreak havoc across the world.
