Tyr Is the Bravest of All the Gods
Tyr is the ancient god of War and the Lawgiver.
He was a representation of honor, justice, and courage.
At one time he was the leader of the Norse Pantheon but was replaced by Odin much later.
He made binding of Fenrir possible by sacrificing his right hand.
When the gods presented Fenrir with the chain Gleipnir, the wolf suspected trickery.
He refused to be bound with it unless one of the gods would lay their hand in his jaws as a pledge of good faith.
None of the gods agreed, knowing that this would mean the loss of a hand and the breaking of an oath.
At last, the brave Tyr, for the good of all life, volunteered to fulfill the wolf’s demand.
And, sure enough, when Fenrir discovered that he was unable to escape from Gleipnir, he chomped off and swallowed Tyr’s hand.
If Tyr could sacrifice his hand, then surely we can all make small sacrifices for the sake of helping our family and community.

- Polyester fibers are strong and lightweight. It is wrinkle-resistant and dries quickly, making it ideal for gym wear.
All of the fabric is laundered, which means it undergoes a controlled process during manufacturing where the fabric is preshrunk and then made into a garment to stop further shrinkage once in use. This means that you don't have to worry about it shrinking too much once dried.
